Life of PRMS: Liesl Green, Marketing and Events Coordinator

Going into college, I knew I wanted to be an event planner - but graduating in 2020, during a pandemic with no in-person events, made that career path a little difficult initially! I joined the mortgage industry as a marketing assistant to further develop my marketing skills, and eventually, as the pandemic subsided started planning the company’s events. When a position opened for a Marketing and Events Coordinator within PRMS about a year ago, I could not have been happier!

At PRMS, I have the opportunity to work with a wonderful team, who I am constantly learning from. Switching to the insurance industry was challenging, but I could not have had a better support system within PRMS. Colleagues are always willing to answer questions, and we help one another to offer the best service to our clients and partners.

As the PRMS Marketing and Events Coordinator, I support the planning of and participation in various events and exhibits throughout the year. Events range from intimate social happy hours hosted by one of our partners for its resident members, to annual meetings for an organization’s members, to national exhibits attended by thousands of psychiatrists across the country. I manage our events calendar, ensure staff is assigned to each event, coordinate shipping of any exhibit materials, and assist in graphic design projects like laying out new resources and creating our quarterly newsletters.

The highlight of my role with PRMS is planning our annual receptions, which we host for the main purpose of thanking our clients and partners, many of whom I have had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know better. The job itself is so rewarding, and everywhere I go, people are constantly telling me how lucky I am to be working at such a special place.

And it is true - I feel lucky to be a part of the PRMS team and could not be happier to represent a wonderful product and company. I am grateful to work for a company that values its employees, and I look forward to a lengthy career at PRMS supporting our clients and partners!
