With sadness, we relay the news that our colleague Dave Torrans passed away on February 8, 2020, after a tenacious battle against cancer.
Dave was one of the first PRMS employees joining in the spring of 1988. He was dedicated to supporting our clients during some of the most difficult times in their professional lives. Dave was also a beloved and highly respected mentor to many of his colleagues throughout the years, always sharing his experience and knowledge most generously.
Dave and his wife, Mary, hosted a party celebrating his life on January 25 at his favorite local restaurant – La Petite Auberge. So many friends gathered from across the country to honor our friend. Dave and his fraternity brothers even sang a few of their Phi Delta Theta songs. Dave expressed appreciation for the many people that made up the “tapestry of his life.” The words expressed by family and friends were a testament to the many lives Dave touched.
Dave will be remembered for his professionalism, his ever-present sense of humor, his love of friends and family, his joy in the outdoors, and his love of Penn State, especially on a sunny autumn afternoon watching his beloved Nittany Lions demolish their opponent.
